Ok, are you ready for this? Grab your hair dryer. Thats right! Grab your hair dryer. This is your most useful tool in this situation.
Turn it on and let it run for about 5 minutes to heat up. Walk that hair dryer over to the rear of your vehicle where the offending bumper sticker resides.
Now start blowin'! It is best to get nice and close. Just make sure to keep your eye on the sticker; you want to heat it up, but not melt it! Here's a helpful hint: "If it starts to bubble, you're in trouble!"
Move the hair dryer up and down and side to side along the bumper sticker. Check with your hand to make sure it is nice and hot.
Once the sticker has heated up, pick a place to start to peel it away. If all has gone well, it should peel right off.
If you have some particularly old bumper stickers that want to give you a hard time, peel from where you started until it won't peel anymore. Don't force it! Use your hair dryer. Point it inwards at the point where you started to peel. Check often to see if it's ready to come off more. But remember, don't force it!
Continue this untill it is all removed. If necessary you can peel off what will come off and then heat up whatever is left behind, using the same process.
This trick works because bumper stickers are held on by a type of glue that is responsive to heat.
