Learn how to make a cool little spaceship. It's very similar to the paper tank that I've made a video for. It takes one sheet of rectangular paper (notebook or printer paper works fine). I used to make this one a lot while sitting in school and church... the saying is that idle hands are tools of the devil... well my hands were always making origami.

We are going to make a spaceship out of one sheet of 8-1/2 by 11-inch paper. This fold is very similar to the tank fold that I have demonstrated. Start by folding the sheet in half hotdog style. Then take the corner of one end and fold it down. Crease and unfold. Then take the opposite corner and do the same. Now we are going to pinch-in along the guidelines to make a triangle shape. This is very similar to the water bomb or balloon base. Now rotate the sheet and repeat at the other end. This next step is optional, we are going to fold in the sides so that they fit underneath these triangle flaps. Do this to both sides. Feel free to try without folding in the sides and see how it changes the shape of your spaceship. When you are done it kind of looks like a two-headed arrow. Now choose one end and fold the flaps down and in towards the center. For the opposite end up towards the flaps we just created. And we are going to fit those new flaps underneath the flaps from the other end. And now you are done, or are you. Let us trick this bad boy out.
