Step 1: Ask for a referral or recommendation from your college or university. It is most likely that your school has a list of marketing firms and public relations companies where you can have your internship. In some cases, public relations companies are the ones that contact your school for possible apprentice for their businesses, so it is good that you first consult your college or university for possible internship options.
