How To Plan a Romantic Valentine’s Day

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and you have no idea what to do to surprise your loved one? Well, here are a few ideas that will ensure a lifetime of memories for the both of you!  

1. The love nest! It doesn't matter where you are as long as you are together! The atmosphere and the planning of special surprises are the main ingredients to a successful romantic evening.
   • A candlelight dinner, a nice bottle of wine and a sexy negligee are usually quite successful.
   • Add some romantic music in the background and even a nice fire and voilà!  
2. Creativity is always a nice touch! You wish to enjoy something different?  Well, how about renting a nice room with a view in a five star hotel?
   • Ask for a hot tub or a Jacuzzi.
   • Bring some candles, roses and plan a nice meal accompanied by a bottle of champagne and some strawberries dipped in chocolate to be delivered to your room at a specific time.
   • Add a chocolate on each pillow.
   • Take a rose and sprinkle the petals on and around the bed.
   • Once you pick up your soul mate, blindfold his or her eyes to ensure the surprise.
   • Guide your loved one to the room! Enjoy! 
3. Touchy feely! If you are a homey kind of person, here is what you can do to make Valentine's Day a night to remember!
   • Light the room with candles while a gentle music contributes to the atmosphere.
   • The table is set with a nice meal delivered and served by a hired butler.
   • Let the butler take care of everything: service and dirty dishes!
   • Once the candlelight dinner accompanied by a nice bottle of wine is done, retire to the living room.
   • Lie down on the sofa and feed each other fruits.
   • Once the butler is gone, take a nice bottle of warm massage oil that you sensually rub all over your lover who is now lying on the bed that is covered with rose petals. Then, let your senses do the rest! 
4. The romantic getaway!
   • Rent a nice cabin!

   • Don't forget your favourite blanket!
   • Once you're at it, make it a weekend getaway!
   • Add to the list your favourite bath salts or bubble bath and some edible massage oil and then you will be all set for the most romantic getaway! 
5. Clues for Sherlock! A surprise is not a surprise without clues and a lot of mystery! A little bit of trickery is not a bad thing if it leads to a good thing!
   • Tell your loved one that a good friend of yours is in town for a conference. Say that you haven't seen each other for years and that you wanted to introduce your loved one to them so the plan for the night was to meet them at their hotel room, then go out for a nice dinner to celebrate Valentine's Day! Of course, what your soul mate doesn't know is that plans have changed!
   • As you show up at the room, a valet opens the door, in order to make it believable. As you come in, he exits and then you explain the room is yours for the night.
   • Flowers, chocolates and a card are set on a table.
   • As your lover reads it, the night's schedule falls out.
   • There are tickets for a favourite show following a nice dinner.
   • Then, dessert will be shared in the Jacuzzi which will be followed by sexy and romantic lovemaking. Now, there's a plan!
