However, that side of the coin tells about the specific economic condition of the higher education institutions. On the other side, poverty has been the most commonly attributed factor by students as to why they ceased their schooling. Scholarships offered to higher education help to combat poverty, costly education and perhaps ignorance. Scholarship grants give students a chance to be provided with good education despite the rising costs of higher education. They serve as bridges or links for deserving students to expand their knowledge, achieve their dreams, share their talents, rise from poverty and perhaps, inspire other people as well.

The real cost of higher education is high (and probably will be higher next school year). But the price of higher education should not hinder the student to gain the prize of precious education.
