Being busy sometimes makes you forget many things. Cell phones nowadays are one of people's personal necessities. This is usually used to communicate mostly by the time of important matters. You can also use your cell phone as a planner with their built in alarms and schedule planner applications. You might rush out to work or school or even play with your cell phone until its battery is totally drained. Since you cannot wait for another hour or two to charge your cell phone, it's always best to grab the charger and charge your cell phone when you get to your destination. That destination could either be your school, office, or other public area. There are also public areas that have pay-per 10 minutes charge like on some fast food outlets, or even free on some mall areas.
These are some helpful tips when charging your cell phone in a public area.
- Charge your cell phone where you can easily see it. Make sure that you can see your cell phone while charging and it will also be better if some security personnel's or attendants are close to your charging area. You may never know what mischief could bring a person that saw an unguarded cell phone in the open area.
- Cell phone's alarm. Use your cell phone's alarm to help you remind that you are charging for how long you have set the alarm for. Setting on the alarm also helps you to keep track that your cell phone is still where you left it, charging. It can also avoid those people with bad intentions on stealing your cell phone.
- Keep an eye on it as much as possible. Every now and then, have a glimpse or a quick look at your cell phone just to make sure that it is still there. This is a safety measure just in case that there are people that have a motive on stealing or taking away your cell phone.
- Ask for help. If you have to leave your cell phone still charging, ask the security personnel or the attendant to watch your cell phone for a while. But it is best to not leave your cell phone. In case you have to go, take it with you. If your cell phone was stolen between the times that you asked the security personnel to watch it while you are gone, they are not liable for your lost item, since it is not their job to watch over your cell phone.
- Put charger away first. If you have your own charger, put your charger away first when you're done charging. Chargers are often forgotten since you focus on your phone that has finished charging.
It is advisable to charge your cell phone before you sleep or overnight for you to have enough or full battery in the morning before you leave home. This may cause less hassle than bringing your charger or looking for a free or pay-per charge outlets. In some cases, it's also handy to have an extra fully charge battery for your cell phone with you. This will give you more talk time than having only one, half-charged battery on your cell phone.
