You will need the following items:
- Sound Forge 7.0 (Administrator)
- Windows Movie maker (administrator)
- PATIENCE (Person)
So you have the two programs and the videos from your camcorder. Open up Windows movie maker. Insert the video and simply delete the images, leaving just the sound. Then save the file. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T DELETE THE ORIGINAL BECAUSE YOU NEED IT. Now open sound forge|File|Open then choose the SOUND Version. You will see that a BUNCH of bars or a scope show up that tells you that there is sound.
This guide basically tells you how to alter your sound. There is a special and an Effects menu. I usually use these as they give me the best results. Now on the effects menu there is something called pitch. Click that or roll your cursor over it and select either one. A menu pops up. On the menu there is a bar in which you can choose the effect or modify it yourself. If you are a beginner and want to get used to the program you're better off NOT MODIFYING THEM.
Use the Effects menu until you have the sound you like and go to File|Save As and save the file as AVI. Open up Windows movie maker. Load the ORIGINAL and take off the SOUND. Now go to insert video and insert your audio file. Drag it to the AUDIO pane NOT the picture pane. Once you save the video you delete the ORIGINAL and keep your new video!!!!
