You've recently bought a new cell phone, but you don't like the pre-loaded ringtones it came with, nor do you want to spend money on downloading ringtones from the internet. The only alternative left to you is to make your own ringtones and you can do this easily by picking tunes from your favorite collection of music. If this is what you want to do, read the instructions listed below to get started.
Step 1:

Download software. Browse through the Web, looking for software which allows you to make your own ringtones. You can input your search criteria as "software for making own ringtones". Some programs are available for free downloads, while for some others you may need to pay some fees. Uploading ringtones to your phone. There are a few ways in which you can upload the newly-created ringtones in to your phone. One way is to email the ringtone to your phone's email address (can check this with the phone service provider). The second way is to download directly from the phone after connecting to the internet. Here again, you will be charged for data download and Internet usage, so check with your provider about the applicable rates. A third way is to download the software and use it to create your ringtones, then connect your mobile phone to the computer (sync software is provided with most mobile phone models these days) and copy the ringtones into your phone.

Making your own ringtones for your mobile phone is a relatively easy and simple task. There are no complicated processes required and you can keep creating ringtones as often as you want. Get creative and record your own sounds and put them together to make interesting ringtones.
