How To Share iPod Music with Another Computer

For quite some time I hoped for a way to share my iPod music with friends on other computers than my own.

I came across an interesting article that went into great detail about how to use your iPod as a storage device or other drive. This turned out to be disastrous.

I knew the concept was a good one, so I searched for a program that would do it all for me.

I came across the 100% free program - SharePod.

Before beginning this tutorial, there are a few things you need to know:

How To Buy an iPod Shuffle

MP3 players are becoming increasingly more popular. There are many types and brands available on the market today. However, the most popular brand without question is the iPod. The iPod comes in three forms: the original iPod, the iPod Nano and the iPod Shuffle. The original iPod is capable of playing music, storing and displaying photos, playing podcasts and playing videos. The iPod Nano is much smaller in size than the iPod and it can do the same things the iPod can, except for play videos. Finally, the iPod Shuffle is basically the same as the iPod Nano except it does not have the LCD color display screen nor can it be used to store or view photos.

When buying an iPod Shuffle there are a few things to consider:

How To Buy an iPod Power Adapter

The iPod power adapter allows you to charge your iPod away from a computer, using a simple wall outlet. This means never again having to deal with computer speed slowing down as the iPod charges. Not only that, but also traveling with music becomes far easier; with an iPod power adapter, all you need is access to a motel wall outlet in order to maintain access to your entire music library.

Functionality of the iPod power adapter. The iPod power adapter has two parts - the power adapter cube with either a USB or Firewire port, and the plug adapter that connects to a wall outlet. The power adapter can immediately determine the input power of the outlet and adjust accordingly. The iPod power adapter accepts any input power within a range of 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz, and 26-38 VA, encompassing the input power levels in a majority of the world's countries, but be on guard for the exceptions so as to protect your iPod.

How To Buy Apple iPod Accessories

After purchasing your Apple iPod, it becomes apparent that you will need several accessories to go along with it. Some of these accessories are more necessary than others. Nevertheless it is important to know where to get them, and what is available. First, let's consider some of the different accessories that are available for purchase. Whether your Apple iPod is a large 20 or even 40 gig, a mini, a shuffle, or a new Nano, there is a plethora of accessories available! The iPod will come with the appropriate USB cord in order to charge and load songs, and a pair of headphones. There are, of course, many other headphone options, all of which can be used with the iPod. There are also different options for charging your Apple iPod. You can purchase a dock, which your iPod will sit upright in and charge. This dock can also be hooked up to your radio at home allowing you to listen to your songs over your radio speakers.

How To Get a Free Zune

The Apple iPod has had the advantage over other MP3 players for some time now, but the Microsoft Zune hopes to bring an end to that. Since most people use computers that run Microsoft windows, they will find that the Zune will be more compatible with their systems as opposed to the Apple iPod. Zunes can be expensive though, which is why you simply can’t pass up the offer to get one for absolutely free! There are websites that will send you a free Zune, just as long as you complete a few offers from their sponsors, or refer a certain number of people to the site.

How To Get Podcasts

Most people, by now, have heard of podcasts, but not everyone knows how to get these audio and video files onto the device of their choice. "Podcast" was first used in 2004 and was declared the word of the year in 2005. Despite this popularity, the process of getting a podcast isn't as well known. Finding the podcast of your choice isn't as elusive as it seems; in fact, finding and updating podcasts can be a rather simple process.

Remember when anything with a tape player and headphones was called a Walkman? The Apple iPod has reached such a level of success that people use the term iPod to refer to any portable mp3 player. There is a good reason for its success, however -- it is a great product. It's easy to use, works great and, like most Apple products, it's stylish. If you are in the market for an actual iPod, there are a few things to consider before choosing what model to buy and where to buy it.

Choose a model. This years model, or I should say, this generation of iPods comes in three different flavors.
