[Music Playing] Along the Southern Part of the Jordanian Israeli Border lies a largenaried valley, the Arava. The development of the Arava Region on both sides of the border between Israel and Jordan is a great priority in contributing towards the population and the flourishing of the dessert into establishing lasting peace among the peoples of the region. As part of the vision to transform the Arava into a valley of peace, a plan has been prepared to create a canal of the seas. Plan includes the building of a canal spanning a distance of 166 kilometers from the Red Sea to the Dead Sea, traveling along the curve border between Israel, Jordan and the Palestinians. In addition, the salination and power plants will be built all based on modern environmentally friendly technologies. The Canal of the Seas will allow for the production and transport of a billion cubic meters of desalinated water per year to the area for use by the community, for agriculture and for manufacturing and development. The Valley of Peace Project will bring unequivocal change to the entire region. The baron dessert will flourish and the erode lands will bloom with greenery on both sides of the border. The Valley of Peace Project will stimulate growth inhabitation in the area and will encourage development of new communities for the benefit of the residence of the region. A promenade will be built along the lengths of the canal featuring tourist attractions, parks, lakes, water falls and hotels serving the surrounding area. It will also feature one of the largest botanical gardens in the world, displaying unique plants and animals from around the globe. The rich and vibrant promenade will transform the region into a magnetic focal point with tourist from all over the world. Modern transportation arteries will stand a length of the canal including a high speed railway which will link the Red Sea with the Dead Sea in under an hour. Rural and Urban communities will spring up on both sides of the canal of the seas, fostering development and agriculture industry and joint hospitals and educational institutions between Israel, Jordan and the Palestinians. The project will create millions of new jobs and the entire area will become an active free trade zone. Valley of Peace is a self sustaining economical project which will not require funding by any of the participating countries. The Valley of Peace vision carries a message of cooperation and economic growth for the benefit of all of the region’s residence. And the day when the Valley of Peace vision becomes a reality, true potential will unfold for establishing mutual trust, stability and comprehensive peace among the peoples of the region.
