Female: Facing the challenge of assembling a talented work team? Where do you begin? Because Bob Kriegel tells you how. Bob: If you are an entrepreneur and you are trying to build a team, one of the things that is really important is to make sure you got the right people in the right position. You do not want a guy who is a great catcher playing second base because he is not going to be excited and he is not going to do as good. You do not want a guy or person who is a great numbers person to be the guy that is in charge of marketing to people. So you have to again, you have to understand your people. Understand what the natural skills are, what they are good at, what excites them. And you got to put them in a position most important thing for a leader is to have people in the position where they can excel, where they are naturally good at this. And they are going to get better. And that is the way you can really help. And one of the things I can tell you about not being an entrepreneur is most entrepreneurs are great starters and lousy managers. So the key for you as an entrepreneur, if you are one of those starters and you probably are, is find somebody who is a good manager. If you are a good opener, find somebody who is a good closer. The best teams always have opposites on it. The opener has a closer. The starter has a finisher. And though that is the way you are going to develop a team that is going to have all the skills that you need in order to keep this thing running.
