Laura: Yes, you know all rain gear I ever had actually have not really done very well. I am wondering, of course you know the answer, what kind of rain gear should I wear?
Dick Well, I am wearing one of the best garments right here, this is very traditional, heavy duty cotton, oil coated, heavy duty zippers snaps, open down the front.
Laura: Right.
Dick: Here’s another one and very high quality nylon also a front zip help the aeration to cool you off, get rid the moisture. Notice pockets are covered very good idea no moisture goes in there very good hood—excellent. Now here is one, which does the same kind a job but this one is pullover.
Laura That is a nice color
Dick: Yes and big pockets again a very good hood and you notice also the zipper is concealed underneath the water proof flat.
Laura: So, out of these three kinds of jackets, I am sure the viewers are wondering, would you recommend one than the other?
Dick No. Really not, it is depend on your preference.
Laura: Okay.
Dick: And then pants to go with this.
Laura: Of course.
Dick Right here, same kind of material that I am wearing, now if you have to watch the bush and stuff, you are going to dealing a lot of abrasion. This is really take it, they will not tear, they are very, very tough. But if you just going to be out in the water most of the time or water proof ness is your main concern, then a pant like this is also very good, which you will notice that they have put reinforcing on this also to take care of that problem.
Laura: So, depending on the environment you choose pant.
Dick: Right, and then you got something on top like a water proof hat like, it might be made out of coated nylon. This is again the cotton which is oiled, works very well.
Laura Right, so with all my rain gear that I am sure this going to be particular kind of clothing that I should wear underneath to insure that the wetness stay out of the body.
Dick: Right. The problem with wearing the rain gear is that, you are still putting up moisture all the time and that goes up and condenses on the under side of the rain garment and then comes back down on you to give you condensation on your skin. If you have something like this beautiful all frothy underwear, from Sweden made of beautiful Marino wool, you will never encounter that problem and I have been wearing this for years and it is really works!
Laura: Oh that is lovely.
