[Music Playing] Hey there DIYers! The last few weeks have shown us that there are plenty of you with nesting dilemmas. Over in the forums there have been hardcore classic conversations like poor Christophine who needs our help. So this week, we are going to clean your closet. [Demo] Where do we even begin? ThreadBanger running with scissors suggests taking everything out first. I am okay. Now, create different piles of categories such as T-shirts, bags, belts, shoes. This allows you to realistically asses how much space each section needs. Come back with a game plan for your new clean closet where everything will have its own space. Store items you do not use as often in a harder t reach areas. Now organize by color or by article of clothing. To make your own cubbies, take recycled cardboard boxes and cover them with contacts paper. Small to medium boxes work as -- as they do not side in the middle. Clear bags and boxes makes it easy to see and grab inside at a glance. For apparel overflow, use vintage luggage or baskets to store accessories, socks, minchnibles or your mutt. Use a collection of hooks, hooks of all kinds for your belts, scarves, bags and cover necklaces. Make your own by screwing old door knobs into the wall. Be sure to hang an organic lavender sachet for a natural way of keeping your cushion smelling fresh. Make your own or get yours at Appleseeds.Etsy.com. Now that everything has its own place. Let is increasing the odds that it will actually stay that way by labeling everything. Hand stamp or write your different sections on recycled card stock. Now, you have a clutter free closet. But do your best to keep it that way by keeping every piece in its own spot. And when we return, we will share some creative ways to cover your closet doors.
