First, find out where geeks congregate in your area. There are some obvious places, such as comic book stores, coffee houses, arcades, and movie theaters. If you want to hit the jackpot, head to any sci-fi meetings or conventions in your area. There will be hundreds of geeks in costumes from your favorite books, movies and television shows. If you see anyone there who shares your love of  fantasy, monsters, or anything along those lines, approach him. Nothing will intrigue him more than your vast knowledge of aliens, video games, and conspiracy theories.
