MySpace is one of the most popular social networking sites today. As with any other social networking site, you can use MySpace not just for chatting and catching up with your friends, but also for hooking up with women. Here’s how.
- Pictures. First of all, make sure that you choose your profile pictures carefully. At first thought, you may think that the best pictures to post are those that show you in your swimming trunks or while working out at the gym. While including one or two of these pictures in your albums is not necessarily a bad thing, you should still stick to fun and wholesome profile pictures. These types of pictures will not intimidate women and will make you seem easier to talk to and easier to approach. One technique that you can try is including pictures of you with animals. Women like pictures of men playing with dogs or showing kindness to animals.
- Profile. Next, set your profile in MySpace. Some people do not bother adding a detailed profile, and you don’t need to either. What you need to do, however, is make your profile just a little bit outstanding .for example, you can add the organizations where you do volunteer work or the charity organizations that you donate to. This will show women that you are not a self-centered guy, but someone who is also involved in the community. Show that you are a caring kind of man, and you will look more attractive for women.
- Searching. Once you have tinkered with your profile picture and your profile information, the next step is to search the site itself for women that you can befriend. The easiest way to do this is use the connections that you have with other friends. Check out your friends’ profiles and look at the friends that they have. Using your immediate friend connections minimizes the gap and makes you less of a stranger for the woman that you have your eyes on – even if she does not know you herself. You can, however, also use the search function in MySpace. This will allow you to search for people depending on location, age, marital status, body size, et cetera.
- Narrowing your search. If you use the search function in MySpace, you will need to narrow down the results. Usually, there will be hundreds upon hundreds of search results. Pore through these and look for girls who do not seem too high maintenance and who do not have too many friends. Those with too many friends in MySpace are usually the ones who really do use MySpace simply for social networking. They usually will reply to your messages, but will not have the time to meet up.
- Chatting. Once you have narrowed down the women that you want to hook up with, you should send them a message. If they reply, you can chat with them online or give them a phone call. After several days of messaging each other back and forth, you can ask for a meet up.
