How To Plan a Romantic Date

When you are planning a romantic date, keep in mind a bit of thought goes a long way. Putting thought into a romantic date can get you ahead in the date department.  First, you need to consider the person's likes and dislikes, for example, if you are going out to dinner, does the other person like Chinese food or Italian food?  Taking someone out to eat can make a great date only if they like the food. Put some thought into a desert or wine choice. Maybe request a romantic song to be played for your date on the piano, if there is one.

Make a romantic date become unforgettable and exciting to the other person.  Choose what you would like to do on your date carefully. Planning a romantic date can be tedious work, but in the end it will pay off.  Dancing can be very romantic to some and not others.  A concert of a favorite singer can be great, but maybe just a simple dinner at home, made completely by you with romantic music playing in the background can be just as romantic.  Another romantic idea is a horse drawn carriage ride under the stars and moon.  This is a very romantic suggestion that is not easily forgotten.  Wherever you choose to go, just impress your date and make it a memorable date based on the individual's personality and what they like.

Flowers, given on the date can always make it more romantic.  Roses are a good choice for romance; however, some women might have a different taste in flowers or not like flowers at all.  Some may have allergies and cannot be around flowers, in which case a nice bottle of wine would do, or you can always give jewelry if you are already on an intimate level.

Make sure throughout the date to be a gentleman.  Opening the car doors and pulling out a woman's chair are thoughtful gestures.  Although today's women do like the idea of free choice and some do take offense at others ordering for them, play it by ear and decide what kind of person they are. Walking a woman to the door is also a nice gesture.  Sometimes a nice gentle kiss on the cheek is more romantic than a deep sensual kiss goodnight, but again use your own judgement in this case.  Another date with the person is a clue it went well, and if sparks were felt, then all that planning for your romantic date went well.
