For many girls, having a sweet sixteen party is second only to their plans for a future wedding. Whether you are planning a sweet sixteen party, or a Quinceanera, here is a guide that will allow you to make it a day to remember.

Deciding on a date and time: Depending on when the actual birthday is, scheduling a date and time for the party can be a challenge. Consider holidays that may keep friends and family away. Find out if anyone else is planning an event during that time and take it into consideration. You can choose between the weekend before, and the weekend after the actual birthday, any day of the weekend from Friday to Sunday, and between an afternoon or evening event.

How To Stop Toddler Biting

Biting is among the most bothersome and embarrassing kid behaviors. Take comfort in knowing this behavior is usually temporary, and much more typical than you may think. The most common reason toddlers bite is because they don't yet have the ability to handle their frustrations. Whatever the cause, biting is clearly upsetting to all involved. And do beware: biting is known to continue as kids get older if not dealt with. Your job is to stop this behavior before it becomes a habit. So here are a few steps to help you stop your toddler from using this annoying habit.

Confront the biter ASAP. Intervene the second your child bites. Name the behavior so he learns the term: "That's biting!" Then in a very stern voice say: "You may not bite people!" Firmly express your disapproval, and quickly remove him from the situation.
