LED technology makes it possible to manufacture smaller lighted mirrors, since these can be battery operated and produce light as intense as a large fluorescent bulb.
Investing in a lighted mirror is a good move, especially for women who find it necessary to put on makeup. These kinds of mirrors are also useful for plucking eyebrows and putting on facial remedies. Most of these mirrors have a 1x magnification and at least 3x optical grade magnification on the other side, and both lighted. Magnification helps especially in the application of eye make up. Fluorescent bulbs do not produce much heat, so you do not sweat while applying make up.
