How To Make a Natural Homemade Yogurt Facial Mask

It is quite easy to make your own natural homemade yogurt facial mask. You can make use of ingredients bought in a grocery store or on hand at home.

Before making any kind of facial mask:

Any Skin Type

Cucumber and Yogurt Natural Facial Mask

  • Place a 1/2 cucumber and 1 tablespoon of yogurt in a blender and puree.
  • Apply the puree evenly on your face.
  • Leave the mask on to dry for 15-20 minutes.
  • Rinse off the mask with a soft wash cloth or cool water.

Normal or Combination Skin Types

Yogurt Walnut Scrub (Yogurt is used to soothe the skin while the nuts can exfoliate your old dry skin.)

Chill 1/4 cup of plain yogurt.
Stir into the yogurt, 1/4 cup of pulverized or ground walnuts.

  • Apply on your face, the mixed ingredients.
  • Gently massage in the mask to exfoliate your skin.
  • Use warm water to wash off the mask.

Normal Skin

Banana, Yogurt, Honey and Facial Mask

  • Mash a 1/2 banana using a fork.
  • Add to the banana, 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt.
  • Add to the mixture, 1 tablespoon honey
  • Evenly apply the mask on your face.
  • Leave the yogurt mask on for 15-20 minutes.

Combination Skin Types . This homemade mask can be used to perk you up if you feel a little sluggish. The yogurt will nourish and cleanse your skin while the orange content full of AHA's and vitamin C will change your mood. The mask creates a cool and relaxing sensation.

Orange Yogurt Mask

  • Get 1/4 of an orange and squeeze out the juice.
  • Mix 1 tsp of plain yogurt to the extracted juice.
  • Use your fingers to smoothen the mixture on your face.
  • Leave the orange mixture on for 5 minutes.
  • Rinse off the yogurt mask with cool water.

Sunburnt or Sensitive Skin. This homemade mask can soothe sunburned, chapped, or irritated skin.

    Yogurt and Oatmeal Homemade Facial Mask

  • Mix 1 cup of chilled natural yogurt to a ½ cup of any kind of oatmeal
  • Apply the mixture on your face.
  • Keep it on your skin for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Steam a washcloth in a microwave. Make sure the heat of the washcloth can be tolerated by your skin and is not too hot.
  • Wash off the mask using the steamed washcloth.

  • Add 2 drops of lime or lemon juice.
