How To Make an Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

With the stressful lifestyle today, it is quite noticeable that wrinkles appear in women as young as 20 years of age. This should not be the case. To make your skin as young-looking as it can get, you need to use an anti-wrinkle treatment. There are many treatments available in the market today, but since most of these products have chemical ingredients that can inadvertently affect your skin’s natural glow, it is much better to make your own anti-wrinkle treatments from natural ingredients. To guide you, here are ways to make a natural anti-wrinkle treatment.

  1. Avocado paste. Wrinkles are most prominent around the eye area. To prevent wrinkles and lighten the skin around the eye area, you need to apply an avocado paste. Avocado is rich in oil that can naturally moisturize your skin. To make an avocado paste, get at least three slices of avocado. Mash until the avocado turns into paste, then add five drops of almond oil. Mix thoroughly. Apply the avocado paste to the eye area and leave for at least five minutes. Wash off with warm water after.
  2. Egg cream. Egg is a staple ingredient in many recipes; it also is an effective anti-wrinkle treatment. To make an egg cream, you need to get an egg white, two tablespoons of cucumber juice, one teaspoon of lemon juice, one teaspoon of brandy, and one teaspoon of sodium benzoate. In a bowl, beat the egg white and add in all the other ingredients. Mix until the ingredients form a creamy mixture. Liberally apply the egg cream to the face. After at least five minutes, rinse with warm water. To keep its freshness, refrigerate the egg cream.
  3. Banana paste. Banana is not only good for pancakes. It also has been proven as an effective anti-wrinkle treatment. Best for this paste is an almost-rotten banana since this kind is easier to mash. Don’t use the whole fruit. Take only about ¼ of its size and mash either manually or with the use of a blender. Make sure not to over-mash to avoid a watery paste. After mashing, gently apply the banana paste to the face. Leave it for around 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse off with warm water.
  4. Honey cream. Honey acts as moisturizer, thus preventing wrinkles and cracked skin. Many commercial products today claim to have honey as their active ingredient. But why use these products when you can use all the honey you want on your skin? To make honey cream, combine two tablespoons of honey with ¼ cup of melted shea butter. Mix well. Apply to the skin, and wash off after 20 minutes. You can also use honey on its own to fully maximize its moisturizing benefit. Just gently massage honey onto your skin. Make sure to apply only a thin coat since honey is somewhat sticky. Leave for at least 15 minutes, then wash your face with warm water.

How often you use these anti-wrinkle treatments depends on your needs. Generally, though, they are safe to use everyday.
