A property profile book can contain as much information as you feel is appropriate for you. You may want to include profiles of agencies, agents and a plethora of other information. This article should help you to create a profile book that suits your needs.

To create a property profile book, you can simply use any notebook with regular notebook paper or you can create one on a computer and either print or have printed as many blank copies as you need. In any type of book you use, the information needed on each property will usually be the same.

To create a profile sheet to use for recording  property information, you should list the following information and leave space for  the answers.

First list the address of the property. Then make a note of the asking price and the amounts of any mortgages that are  still owed on the property.

Include in your area profile sheet notes about the type of neighborhood the property is in and whether or not there are schools or shopping places nearby.

Include a commercial profile of what kind of house it is and what it is constructed of. For example it may be a  two story stucco house, a one floor brick rancher, or a condominium.

Then make a note about the condition of the property, inside and out. Describe what rooms are in the house, and how many rooms there are. Make a note of any porches, patios, or other structures, such as sheds, work shops or garages.

The next section should be a description of the heating and cooling system. This could be a heat pump, electric baseboard heat, radiators, or even gas, oil or wood. Indicate whether or not there is air conditioning available.

You will also want to include on the commercial profile the size of the lot or home, and other building sizes.

Also  make a note of  whether there is public transportation available or if the property is on a city water and sewer system. If it is  a rural property also show whether or not there is a private well.

You may also want to list the postal service and newspapers that are available in that area.

Always leave a section at the bottom for any other information you may want to include.

Be sure to include in your profile sheets the property demand for similar homes or buildings.
