  2. Preparation - Before starting to mix your ingredients, preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray your tart pans with a non-stick spray. If you do not have non stick spray, you can coat the surface of the tart pans with vegetable oil. Set aside the pans.

Make sure that you get all the ingredients mixed very well. To make sure, you can use your hands to blend the ingredients together. When the pastry is ready, you can roll them into half an inch balls. Press them on the tarts pans until you have formed a cup. You can make marks on the tarts by pushing a fork on the sides. When your oven has reached 400 degrees, you can cook the tarts for about 10 minutes or until they are slightly golden brown in color. After baking, remove the tart pans from the oven and decrease the temperature to 350 degrees.
  4. Filling - In a saucepan, mix together the margarine, corn syrup and confectioners sugar. Wait for the mixture to boil. While waiting, you can prepare your cherries. Chop the cherries into tiny pieces. Remember to leave some cherries for the toppings. You can add the chopped cherries to the mixture when it starts to boil. Wait for the mixture to thicken up slightly, and then you can turn off the heat.
  5. Tarts - Put the filling in the tarts that you baked earlier. Bake the tarts again for about 5 minutes if the oven has already reached 350 degrees. After baking, remove the tarts from the oven. You can put whole cherries on top of the tarts to improve the presentation. Wait for the cherry tarts to cool before serving.
