  • A fork or small whisk (optional: meant to mix scrambled egg)

Preparation

  1. Use 1 slice of bread.
  2. Butter both sides with butter or margarine.
  3. Use a round cookie cutter or a glass to cut a circle in the middle of the slice of bread.
  4. Optional: If you want a scrambled egg, make it prior to cooking

Cooking time

  1. Preheat your frying pan on high heat.
  2. Lower the temperature to medium-high.
  3. Put the slice of bread in the frying pan.
  4. Drop the egg in the circle.
  5. Cook both sides until golden brown or when the egg is cooked to your liking (over-easy, over-medium or hard).
  6. Once you have completed this process, season, serve and enjoy!

Repeat as many times as desired or needed. Each chick's nest makes a portion for one person. Once you make it, you will love it as it will give you another option for breakfast...or lunch!
