A Cuba Libre is such a classic drink. You can get one at any bar you visit. And they're pretty simple to make. The drink's origin is reported to be in Cuba in the 1900s. It's a highball drink composed of Cola, lime and rum. Bacardi claims ownership of the Cuba Libre, but no one knows who the true creator is.
You can substitute with all sorts of Rums and colas to put your own unique twist on this drink.
Step 1:
Fill a Highball glass with ice.
Step 2:
Add one shot of dark rum.
Step 3:
Fill up the rest with cola.
Step 4:
Squeeze in a twist of lime, stir and serve.
