Follow this lazy woman's guide to making delicious peach cobbler.

Winter is approaching and it's time to make some type of dessert for your hungry friends and family.  Peach cobbler is a good dessert to make.  Not only is it a delicious dessert, it also emits a nice odor while it cooks.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of peach halves
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 box generic yellow cake mix
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon  instant lemon juice (comes in plastic yellow bottle)
Step 1:

Procedure:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2:

Follow directions on cake mix to create the cake batter, but don't bake it. 

 

Step 3:

Keep cake mix in a separate container.

 

Step 4:

Cut peaches into small pieces. 

Step 5:

Mix the butter, sugar, peaches, nutmeg, and lemon juice together in a baking pan.  The lazy woman does NOT do unnecessary dishes.

 

Step 6:

Sparingly place dobs of the cake mix over the top for pie crust.

Step 7:

Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

 

When your cobbler is ready, let your friends and family be the guinea pigs and taste test your creation.  Your friends and family will be impressed with how industrious you were ... and only you will know how little effort the peach cobbler took to create.
