Ingredients
- 1/3c Brown Sugar
- ½ c Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Ginger
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp Nutmeg
- 2 Eggs
- 1 1/2c Milk
- 2 c Pumpkin Puree
Preheat
Once you have acquired all of the ingredients listed above you will want to go ahead and preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. This will insure that the oven is ready once you are ready to bake the pie.
Warm Crust
Before you begin to mix your ingredients, place the pie crust into the oven so that it is warm to the touch before you pour the ingredients into it.
Mix
First begin by whisking the eggs together into a mixing bowl. Once the eggs have been mixed, add all other ingredients and continue to mix evenly.
Pour and Bake
Pour the mixed ingredients into the warmed crust. Be sure to spread the mix evenly around the crust and do not allow any over flow. Once you have an even spread in the crust, place the pie onto the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes. The pie will be ready when it has a gelatin like feel to it.
Cool and Serve
Once the pie is done take it out and let cool for 5-10 minutes or until comfortable to touch. Once it is cool serve and enjoy.
