  1. Ingredients - The ingredients that you will need to make your homemade sausage seasoning are: 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. ground black pepper, 3 1/2 tsp. paprika, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. fennel seeds and 1/4 tsp. crushed pepper flakes. This recipe is good for seasoning 1 lb. of meat. You can double or triple the recipe if you need more.
  2. Making Seasoning - Get a bowl and blend all the ingredients together. You can mix the ingredients together by stirring or you can also use a food processor to make the mixture finer. When you are done mixing, you can put the seasoning in an airtight container. Store it in a dry place where there is no moisture to avoid clumping of the seasoning. You can store the seasoning until you are ready to use it.
  3. To Use - You can use the sausage seasoning for ground beef, chicken and pork. You can also use it to make hamburger patties, stuffing or food that you feel needs to have a sausage taste. If you do not want your seasoning to be spicy, all you have to do is to remove the crushed pepper flakes from the recipe.
