A Delicious, Fast and Inexpensive Alternative!

Since I was a child, I have always enjoyed eating grilled cheese sandwiches. My mother made good ones, but as I grew older I experimented by trying out a few things, for the best. Here is how I make some tasty grilled cheese sandwiches.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (your choice)
- 1 slice of cheese per sandwich (cheddar is better)
- Butter or margarine
Cooking tools
- Sandwich grill (non-stick surface is the best)
- Butter knife
- Spatula
Directions
- Preheat the sandwich grill.
- Butter the inside of your sandwich.
- Add the slice of cheese.
- Close the sandwich and butter the outside of each slice of bread.
- Put the sandwich on the grill and close. Don't push the lid down!
- Check regularly until each side is golden brown.
- Use a spatula to remove the grilled cheese sandwich from the grill.
- Use the spatula or the butter knife to cut your grilled cheese sandwich in half.
- Serve and...enjoy!
Variations: Here are different ingredients that you may add to your grilled cheese sandwiches according to your taste. You can add some slices of cooked bacon, some slices of ham or some tomato slices.
Either way, your grilled cheese sandwiches will be a tasty alternative. They are delicious, fast and inexpensive! Enjoy!

My favorite sandwhich is a grilled cheese with a slice of Jersey Tomato! If you want a little kick, I drop a little tobasco (Ok a lot of tabasco) on the tomato slices before I put them on my sandwhich/es! It soaks into the tomato's juices, and compliments them quite nicely!
