Tomatoes are used in most of the great and known menus worldwide. It brings out a great flavor, taste and color in any dish. - Soak the tomatoes in hot water. For this procedure, you need a bowl of hot water, enough quantity to soak the tomatoes, and a bowl of cold water. Before soaking the tomatoes, you need to make sure that it is washed thoroughly. Then, make a small piercing in each tomato with a knife. You may then soak the tomatoes in hot water for 45 seconds to 1 minute. After soaking, you need to immediately transfer it to cold water to stop the cooking process. With this procedure, you will notice that the skin is loose and it can be easily removed. You should be able to gently peel off the skin starting from the piercing you placed earlier.
- Bake the tomatoes with olive oil. Another easy way of peeling the skin of tomatoes is through baking. All you need for this procedure is a pan or a tray for baking and olive oil. First, place the tomatoes in a pan and make a small piercing in each using a knife. Then, rub it with olive oil and bake in low heat for about 3 hours until the skin becomes loose. Then, let it cool and peel off the skin using your hand. You may start through the piercing you made so it will be easier to remove the skin.
