Every individual has his own perception of what a perfect ice cream sundae is, and so do you. It depends on your taste, environment, or your personal definition of perfect. For that reason, there is no one absolute and perfect sundae, but there are perfect sundaes which vary from one person to another. Despite these differences, one thing is sure: ice cream sundaes are more delicious if you put toppings on them. Toppings are add-ons that make your ice cream a colorful one and enjoyable to eat. You can buy them in stores near you. However, aside from buying them you can in fact prepare and make your own toppings. So why don't you spend some time and try the following:
Peanut Butter Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
- 1/3 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of whipping cream
- 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract
Procedure
- Place the whipping cream, milk and peanut butter chips in your saucepan.
- Cook it over with a low heat.
- Stir it constantly until the chips are dissolved or melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Remove it from heat and mix in vanilla.
- Serve while it is warm.
- Cover and refrigerate the leftover sauce.
Big Chief Blueberry Topping

- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp of lemon juice preferably fresh
- 1 tbsp of cornstarch
- 2 tbsp of cold water
Procedure

- Mix the cornstarch and water in a bowl.
- Add the combined cornstarch and water to the blueberry mixture and cook it for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Continuously stir until it is already smooth and thick.

Sundae parties are always more fun when there are a large number of toppings from which to choose - and, of course, they must be scrumptious and yummy or else you won't have the best sundae in the world. You can put whatever toppings you prefer but always keep in mind that they should complement the flavor of your ice cream.
