Hi, I am Dave Epstein I am going to show you today how to patch some of those bares spot on your lawn couple of ways you can do it. You could go out and you can get seed, and you can tilt up the soil a little bit and then you could put down a product that specifically made to patch holes on your lawn. But let us say you have some grass coming up in other parts of your yard that you do not want for instance in a walk way or in a bed reuse it, watch how we do it. The first thing we do we found some grass here this is growing just underneath some boxwoods I do not want it here I like the look of the stone I carefully pull it up. Notice all the roots this is a very healthy grass plant remember grass is indeed a plant and we have this other spot here that we have no grass.
I am just going to take a tool and you could use anything you can even use your finger dig up the dirt a little bit loosen it. Plop that grass plant which is in an another part of the yard in there pack it down give it a little bit of water as long as you keep that grass plant moist until it takes hold, it will take hold and be with you for many years to come. One important point if the grass that you are taking out of the beds is a different color than the grass on your lawn it will be that way I personally do not mind I like having many different varieties of grass on the lawn it is actually better for the lawn and healthier . Come back every week for all of our tips here at GrowingWisdom.com.
