[Music Playing] How can the Democrats win the presidency? I do not know because I am not a campaign strategist I mean I would be just a terrible campaign manager, most journalist would. So, my take on that is not better than many other people and I do not readily accept the explanation, the idea, popular that has great currency on the Blogs or online that if you stick to your principles and stand up and articulate them strongly no matter what they are, people will back you because it is really just an election about people who are democrats and people who are republicans and it is a matter of how many of them you bring out. This is the theory that Carl wrote made popular, and that a lot of the folks have move in elsewhere, think makes a lot of sense. That basically, the country now falls into two camps. There is that not that much of the middle ground and the more full threaded you are and defensive your principles and policies, the greater chance you have of inspiring the people you need to win. I much more would subscribe to Bill Clinton’s model that in fact campaigns are still decided by independent voters. And those independent voters, some of them may have voted republican for 15 years without interruption, it does not make them republicans. When you go out and talk to voters because I have in the excerpts or in some of the rural countries, at world, states in the country, they are not as party identified as they used to be. People are just last party identifiers, they are not. They do not see themselves instruments of a blue team or a red team. They are actually up for grabs, but they can fall in to one camp or another for significant period of time. I think to win, particularly for democrats, from the math has not been a especially good up until this moment. The poll is much better for them right now but I think that is a reflection about people of feeling rather republicans. You do need to have compelling case for people who do not automatically agree with you. [Music Playing]
