Today, we’re going to show you a simple hole repair in a screen and also re-screening of a screen. We also are going to talk about weather stripping, replacing weather stripping on a sliding glass door and practically any homeowner could do it.
Some of the tools that you would use are every homeowner probably has in their home. We have measuring tape, a screw driver, pair of scissors, re-screening tool that you can probably purchase at any hardware store, utility knife, safety glasses, and a pair of gloves. The reason for the gloves, if you have an aluminum screen mesh sometimes the edges are sharp.
Today, we’re going to use a fiber glass screen material which has an ultra violet light, UV blocker on a screen material that you can purchase basically in any hardware store. Now, we’re ready to repair your screen and let’s get started.
