Speaker: How to make homemade tomato sauce? Step one: Dice a quarter pound of salami, add salami to a saucepan on low heat. Step two: Dice one large onion, add to saucepan and simmer on medium heat until onions are clear. Step three: Dice or press four cloves of garlic. Step four: Chopped fresh tomatoes or use canned tomatoes or use both. Step five: When the onions are cooked, add tomatoes and garlic. Step six: Season with salt and pepper to taste and use basil and oregano or Italian seasoning. Step seven: Stir the ingredients and cook the sauce on medium low heat for at least an hour. The sauce is ready to eat whenever you like, but the longer you cook it the thicker it will be and the better it will taste. Step eight: When the sauce is almost done, add any vegetables you would like. Here we are using mushrooms. Our sauce is cooked for six hours. It was delicious on pasta. Alternatively, you could put it on some bread.
