Hi! My name is Don and this is Cooper. We’re at WindowPro, window indoor company. We’re going to show you how to repair a slight hole in the screen material.
If a mosquito can get into the screen, the mosquito is going to get to you. So, we’re going to poke a little hole in the screen material with a pen. This is a tiny hole that we’re going to repair with fingernail polish. This is a quick and easy fix that any homeowner can do.
What we’re going to do is take a nail polish, it doesn’t have to be clear and I’m going to have this applied right over the top of the hole. And what we’re doing is letting the fingernail polish act as an adhesive to bind the screen fiber glass screen material together. And we’re also going to cover the hole. That’s where we poke the hole with the pen through and as you can see now, it’s clear and the mesh is held as a temporary fix so you can have the screen repaired.
That’s how you repair a small hole in the screen material with nail polish. Next we’re going to get started on repairing a screen, actually removing the screen cloth and replacing them.
