Tinkernut.com Welcome to tinkernut.com video cast. In this video, we are going to reviewing some freeware and this week’s freeware is called the GDrive. And this application takes the extra storage from your Gmail account and turns it in to accessible hard drive space. So to download it, go to www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm. Scroll to the bottom and click the download link and then click another download link. Download it and then extract it and once it extracts, just double-click on the setup file to install the program. And then once it is installed, all you have to do is open up your My Computer icon and you should see new drive called Gmail Drive. And then you can either select login is as or double-click on it and just enter your user information from your Gmail account and you will be able to access it. And then all you have to do is just drag stuff to it as if it were in extra hard drive on your computer. So you could store extra stuff on your Gmail account, it will automatically upload.
