[Music playing] Hi, I am Judith Gerberg. And I am a New York Career Counselor. I am really looking forward to sharing my thoughts and my expertise. Someone has described me as combining New York street smarts with creative vision. And that is what I like to bring to you today. I am delighted to talk to you now about managing up. People think there is some mystery involved but what it is being a best human self. Figuring out how you can be of service to someone, and being enthusiastic about that service, not falling into negative interpretation of your boss’s action. But rather being curious, curiosity is on of those great skills that would do you well no matter what your job, no matter what you field is. Curious is to I wonder why you are doing it that way? Curious is I wonder what else I could do to be more useful to the company? Curious is I have this great idea, how do you think I can best implement it, what can I do so that we all look really good on this team? Those are some of the ways with managing up.
