So we are going to go to our Start Point Tool. All the way in the toolbox, this one doesn't have a quick command. So if you are going to use it, you have to select it from the toolbox. So the Start Point Tool will effect the starting point of this object. You can tell the starting point of an object by the arrow on the path. This particular object or path has an arrow that is down here pointing to the right, or we can change the start point because that is the start point to this end, if we would like. So I am going to click on that point. So you can see the arrows now on the top-side. We can click another point, may be we wanted to start in the middle. I am going to click and you can see it's now starting there.
So the next tool we are going to choose is Reverse Path Tool. So if I click and hold down, we can get the Reverse Path Tool. Select that and this will effect the direction the path is going. So the arrow on that path is indicating that it's going to the right. So if I click, and I can click anywhere on the path, we'll see the arrow changes direction.
The next tool I am going to use are the Scissors. I am going to click on the path once here and once on the other side. What this is going to do is create two individual paths out of this one path. So I am going to go to the Group Selection Tool which is located in the Object Selection Tools. I am going to select that path by clicking on the path. I am going to de-select by holding Shift and clicking on the other path, because there are two separate paths here. So now I have that path selected, I am going to use my Arrow keys and the Shift key to move them dramatically.
So now you can see that there are two separate paths. So now we are going to zoom back out. We are going to Fit to Screen. So now we are zoomed and we can see how we've affected our glasses and they are looking so much better than they did before. I am going to go ahead and do a Save As because I would really admire what I have done so far. It's important to me that we keep the integrity of this art.
So I am going to go to File>Save As. So now we'll navigate to the Desktop again, we will put this back in Project Files, save it under Lesson 01. Let's rename this, so we don't save over it. So I would like to preserve the extension on there. So I am going to click just before the dot(.). I am going to drag and select the Lesson1Glasses part and leave the .design alone. I am going to name this KillerGlasses. I am going to press Save and we are off.
