If you work in an office, you know how exhausting it can be to be sedentary all day, every day.  What many people don't realize is that the office can be a perfect place to squeeze in a little exercise every day.  Studies have shown that people who learn how to exercise in their office have increased productivity and satisfaction with their work environment.  Check out these interesting office exercise tips:

  1. First, see if your boss or company has a budget for a treadmill desk.  These desks make it possible for you to be at your desk working on a computer, answering phones and walking in place!  People who invest in one of these new creations report losing weight in the first week.
  2. If a treadmill desk is out of the question, it is still possible to get a decent workout somewhere in your 8-hour-day.  For instance, every hour, take about ten minutes to do crunches.  These you can do right by your desk so no one will even know.
