How To Make Boric Acid Suppositories

A vaginal yeast infection is best remedied by using boric acid suppositories.  Boric acid essentially controls the spread of yeast infection.  It has both the anti-viral and anti-fungal properties needed to manage the influx.

Despite the commercial availability of oral medications, ointments, and creams, women are generally looking for an alternative that offers comfort and quick relief.  Boric acid suppositories are one of the more preferred and trusted treatment alternatives. Here are the pointers if you need to make some boric acid suppositories:

  • Step 1.  Source your boric acid powder.  You can directly buy it over the counter in your nearby pharmacy center.  You can also order it on-line.  Then, you can purchase your gelatin capsules.  Ask for 00 size.  The number of gelatin capsules depend on the amount of boric acid powder that you wish to consume.  Kindly note that one gelatin capsule normally contains between 540 and 1,090 milligrams of boric acid powder.
  • Step 2.  Get a bowl.  Make sure it is dry and clean.  Then, bring out your boric acid powder and place it into the bowl.
  • Step 3.  It is important to wash your hands before you proceed to the next step.  You need to keep everything hygienic since you are going to use your gelatin capsules as vaginal suppositories.  If plastic gloves are available, you can wear them even if you have already thoroughly washed your hands.
  • Step 4.  Transfer your gelatin capsules into another bowl.  Again, check if the bowl is dry and clean.   Afterward, continue by opening one of your gelatin capsules.  Split it into two parts.  Note that one of the halves should be larger than the other. You can use a clean knife in cutting your first gelatin capsule.
  • Step 5.  Set aside the rest of your gelatin capsules.  Concentrate on the first one that you cut in halves.  Hold the larger part of that capsule.  Take it to the bowl where you have placed your boric acid powder.  Use the larger part to easily scoop up your boric acid powder.  You can use the tip of your clean knife in bringing in the boric acid powder inside the larger part of your gelatin capsule. When the larger part is already filled up, get the smaller part. Use the smaller part to top the larger part.  Continue by closing the gelatin capsule.  That’s your first boric acid suppository.
  • Step 6.  Put the first gelatin capsule in a dry and clean container.  It should have a lid that can be tightly sealed, especially when you want to store your boric acid suppositories.
  • Step 7.  Hold on to your second gelatin capsule.  Repeat Steps 4, 5, and 6.  Do the same for the remaining gelatin capsules.

Be cautious.  Boric acid can’t be ingested.  Also, it can be toxic.  So, keep it in a safe area.  Don’t make it accessible to children and pets.  Likewise, it is important to meet a doctor first.  A doctor is in the best position to recommend treatment options for you.  If boric acid suppositories is one of them, then, you can go ahead.
