Do you have a special date coming up this weekend? Or a family or class reunion that is right around the corner? Everyone wants to lose a few vanity pounds, but now there is no need to worry. Believe it or not, it is possible to lose up to 10 pounds in less than a week by following this simple, low calorie Three Day Diet meal plan.

Day 1
Breakfast

  • A cup of black coffee or tea (you may add in artificial sweeteners if you like)
  • Half a grapefruit or one glass of grapefruit juice
  • 1 slice of toast with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter

Lunch

  • A cup of black coffee or tea (you may add in artificial sweeteners if you like)
  • 1/2 cup of tuna
  • 1 slice of plain toast

Dinner

  • 3 ounces of any lean meat or chicken
  • 1 cup of green beans
  • 1 cup of carrots
  • 1 apple
  • 1 cup of plain vanilla ice cream

 

Day 2
Breakfast

  • A cup of black coffee or tea (you may add in artificial sweeteners if you like)
  • 1 egg
  • Half a banana
  • 1 slice of plain toast

Lunch

  • 1 cup of cottage cheese or plain tuna
  • 8 regular saltine crackers

Dinner

  • 2 beef hot dogs
  • 1 cup of broccoli or cabbage
  • 1/2 cup of carrots
  • Half a banana
  • 1/2 cup of plain vanilla ice cream

 

Day 3
Breakfast

  • A cup of black coffee or tea (you may add in artificial sweeteners if you like)
  • 5 regular saltine crackers
  • 1 ounce of cheddar cheese
  • 1 apple

Lunch

  • A cup of black coffee or tea (you may add in artificial sweeteners if you like)
  • 1 boiled egg
  • 1 slice of plain toast

Dinner

  • 1 cup of tuna
  • 1 cup of carrots
  • 1 cup of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup plain vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup of melon

In addition to the above meal plan, be sure to drink at least four glasses of water or diet drinks each day. Exercise can be a big help as well. Once you have completed the Three Day Diet plan, you may continue to eat regularly for the next four or five days, but please do not be tempted to over eat. You also have the freedom of jumping back on the plan if you ever feel the need to. If you follow this plan exactly, then you too can be 10 pounds lighter!
