How To Find Birthday Party Games

If you are planning a birthday bash, you are probably looking for the perfect birthday party games. Whether you are planning an event for preschoolers or teens, we can help you find the party games that are sure to please your guests.

Know your guests. It is important to consider your party guests when you are picking birthday party games. Will you have a wide range of ages, for example at a large family party, or a group of five- and six-year-olds from your son's kindergarten class? Keep in mind that younger children cannot read instructions and usually have shorter attention spans, while older groups can play games with more elaborate rules.

How To Play Kids' Party Games

Everybody loves a party, and kids are no exception. Festive decorations, yummy food, tons of balloons and of course, fun party games, help to make the day memorable. If it's been a while since you played children's party games, here is a quick refresher:

Bozo Buckets: Line up 6 buckets and stand a child at one end. Instruct the player to toss a ball into the closest bucket. If the child is successful, she gets to try the next bucket. The child gets to continue tossing the ball into each progressively further bucket until she misses. Award a prize for each successful toss, with the prizes getting a little larger for each toss.

How To Play Christmas Party Games

Games are an important part of any party or celebration. During the holidays, especially, games can really get party guests into the spirit of the season. Here are some tips on how to play Christmas party games:

Christmas Trivia Game A Christmas trivia game can be adapted for adults or children. Ask a series of Christmas-related trivia questions and have the guests write down their answers. Whoever has the most correct answers at the end of the game wins. You can create trivia questions based on the birth of Christ, Christmas folklore, Christmas traditions, Christmas television shows, Christmas songs and carols, etc.

How To Play Children's Party Games

Party games are a wonderful part of any children's celebration. If it's been a while since you have thrown or attended a children's party, here are some tips on how to play children's party games:

Play age-appropriate games. It is important that you consider the age group of the children that will be at the party and plan age-appropriate games. If the party guests range in ages, plan a few activities for each group or just do middle of the road games (not too easy, not too hard) that everyone will enjoy.

How To Play Halloween Party Games

A Halloween party just wouldn't be complete without some spooky games to play! Whether you're having a party for kids or grown-ups, crank up the kitsch and get downright ghoulish with these suggestions.

For an adult Halloween party, murder mystery games can be a lot of fun. Pick up the game at a toy or department store, and when you're ready to send out your invitations, assign each character to a guest. Include a card with the character description in each invitation, and ask guests to dress the part for the party.

Halloween trivia can be fun for all ages, and the best part is that it's not too active so costumes won't get in the way. Use subjects like Halloween history, horror movies, vampires, monsters and witches and create trivia cards. Then divide your guests into teams and play.
How To Play Baby Shower Games

Baby showers enhance the excitement and anticipation of the mother-to-be, and also foster a warm sense of community. They require planning, but the good news is that baby showers are great fun to plan! A gathering of close friends and family is the perfect time to bring out the games, both traditional and new, and give out some prizes. Keep your guests entertained and provide plenty of photo opportunities with these ideas!

Variations on children's games can be fun and certainly are appropriate for a baby shower. Try a new twist on such favorites as hot potato, duck duck goose, or musical chairs, using baby-related items as props. Rename the games so they fit with the baby theme.

Try baby bottle bowling! Fill baby bottles with water and use a child's ball to bowl (you can color the water with food coloring if you like, but make sure the lids are secure to prevent spills and stains).
