How To Be Good at Halo 2

This article tells you things you should do when playing Halo 2. I do all of these things and they are all good ways to kill people in the game and level faster.

1. Communicate well and form a good team (or party) of 4. These are 2 of the most important things to level and win lots of games. This will make sure that you will not get de-levelers on your team or just people that are very bad at the game and die a lot.
2. Camping may not be too fun, but it wins. If you didn't know, camping is where some or all of the team stays in one certain place and lets the other team come to them. This reduces your amount of deaths, which helps dramatically with your score. Say you are down by 10. You camp in a certain area and only 3 people die in that area on your team. Normally, you should be able to kill around 5 people before 3 people die. That's 2 kills that add to your score, so now you are down by only 8. Continue doing this and you are guaranteed to win.
3. Get all of the power weapons. Power weapons include the energy sword, rocket launcher, shotgun, sniper rifles, and whatever is a one-shot kill weapon. They make it easier to kill someone and you are not going to die as easily if you wield one.
4. Throw random grenades. Say there's an entrance to the room you are in, you may throw grenades in case someone is on the other side of that door. It will sometimes work and sometimes won't. This is a good strategy during team ball or king of the hill because even if there isn't anyone there, you are still gaining points. If you aren't playing team ball and you are playing team slayer, this is still good. You have a chance of killing someone and if you hit someone when throwing a random grenade, it could be a free kill for your team.
5. Be a good sniper. This will probably not be an easy thing to do. Well first, you need to know where a good sniping place is. A good sniping place is a high-level place where there is no one that will come behind you. Another important thing is team support. Your team should probably guard you and make sure you don't die.
