RuneScape is a role playing game that is available online for free to multiple players. Its set to a fantasy medieval land called Gielinor with different kingdoms, regions and cities. Players can customize their own RuneScape avatar, and set their own goals and objectives. Living in Gielinor is a matter of survival, and may cause a player to resort to unconventional measures such as looting from Drop Traders, or players who will leave items for you to pick up. Looting items from a Drop Trader is a dirty trick but will get you more items in your stash the easier way.
- Go and find a possible Drop Trader. Drop Traders are found in unusual places, such as the towers, empty rooms or unvisited areas. Potential Drop Traders appear to be doing nothing. You can stay put in a hidden area to watch the character for like a minute or two, or you can also switch user names, so creating another RuneScape account will be needed.
- Move close to the character to check if he is indeed a Drop Trader. Get near the character at a regular pace and stand on top of the character’s head. If the character you set your eyes on is a Drop Trader, then there will be a red ‘X’ mark that will appear on the character. Wait awhile as the other character may also wait for a few more moments before a drop trade will be performed. You can also add the user name of the character to your queue to keep track as he might try to switch worlds.
- Be on the look out for other possible Drop Traders. If the first character you set your eyes on is not a Drop Trader, or have declined to drop his items at the last minute, then proceed on finding another potential Drop Trader. Again, try looking for possible Drop Traders in unusual, abandoned or ignored places. Go through the same steps of logging in to a different user name and keeping your eye on the possible Drop Trader.
Drop Trading may be dirty but it proves to be a much faster way for to gather you more items and earn you more money. Just do not expect the potential Drop Trader to go the way you expected, as he may also threaten you for stealing. Do not fret as you can threaten him back by advising him that drop trading is a prohibited practice between characters.
