Our veterans sacrificed so much for us, and their country, just to keep us safe, and to keep our freedom alive. They did it for the love of their country, and to keep America who she is today. The saying our veterans have is true, "All gave some, some gave all". If you want to do something special for our wounded veterans, to thank them for their service, and dedication, why not donate your vehicle to help. If you are unsure on how to go about donating your vehicle to help wounded veterans, I will help guide you in the right direction.
At the website helpourveterans.org you will see the words "Support our veterans donate your car" with the sign up now button below. By simply clicking the sign up now button, you will be redirected to the online car donation form. All that is required is for you to complete the form with your name, daytime phone, email, address, city, state and zip code. Then fill in your vehicle's information of year, make, model, color, and other miscellaneous car information. Once your form is filled out, you will receive a phone call from the organization to arrange a time for a tow company to pick up your car. Once your car is picked up, they will mail out to you your tax deductible donation receipt. If you do not have access to a computer, you can call 800-HELP-VETS (800-435-7838).
The second place to donate your vehicle is at carsforvets.org. On their web page you will see the words "donate a car online" in blue, and you can simply click on the words to be redirected to the standard online car donation page. Fill out the form completely, and they will contact you for a pick up time with a local towing company. The contact phone number is 1-800-409-3274, and they have operators available 24/7 for car donations.
Any motorized vehicles are accepted like cars, vans, trucks, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles. These organizations use the money from the sale of your vehicle to help our wounded veterans in their time of need. Many of our veterans are struggling with medical bills and treatments that they cannot afford. These organizations will help them with their needs, to get them back on track, to living a better life they deserve. There is no better way to return the favor, than to give back to them with a car donation.
