How To Make a Singing Birthday Card

When looking to send someone a birthday card, we all look for ways to make the card unique and personal. We want to let someone know how we feel about them during their birthday each year. To make sure that you do just that, consider the idea of making a singing birthday card. Depending on how you want to create this, will depend on how much work you will want to do when making the singing birthday card.

Step 1:

Visit the local hobby store that sells the devices that allow you to record your own device onto a piece that is then inserted into the card to make it sing. This device will cost a couple of dollars and is fairly easy to find at one of the hobby stores. Inside of the package for the birthday singing card you will come across a double sided tape that allows the device to be placed onto the singing birthday card. The instructions will tell you where the best location on the card is to place the device.

Make sure that the card stock that you are purchasing for your singing birthday card is blank and is made especially for a singing birthday card.

Step 2:

If you are unable to find the specialty cards for the singing birthday cards then ask the personal working there to help you find the right card stock to use for creating a singing birthday card. They will be able to point you in the right direction.

Step 3:

Use decorations for scrap booking to make your singing birthday card special with the attention that you pay to the detail on the card. You will need to have stickers that you would use for a birthday scrap book along with other colorful decorations for your card. This might include the use of lace along with buttons. By using buttons on a singing birthday card, you are adding a small touch of craftiness to your singing birthday card.

Add some different scrap book supplies such as different stencils that can be used to create different lettering on the singing birthday card as well as adding some texture to your birthday card with the use of scrap booking supplies such as embossing powder. This is where you will scratch an image into the singing birthday card stock and then a small amount of powder will be placed over the image and will then be heated to raise the image up off from the page. Once you have done this, allow it to dry. Once it is dry continue working on the rest of the singing birthday card.

Step 4:

Once you have added your device and placed it into the right location on the card, you will then want to make sure that you sign it with a little note as well. This will help if the card happens to get damaged in the mail when it is sent. After you do this, place into an envelope and seal and place in the mail with a postage stamp attached.
