Several years from now, you will probably find that you will want to write your own book in order for you to become really fulfilled in your life. Why wait when you can make one now? Believe it or not, you can have your own book in just 10 full days! Now is the time to create that book.
You will become more interested in the writing business when you're done with your first one. And eventually, you will find yourself writing some more. Concentrate and focus on your book if you want to finish it as soon as possible.
Here are some tips to consider in writing your book in 10 days.
Think intensely on what to write on day one. Pick between writing a nonfiction or a fiction book. In writing the latter, you have to decide on where to get your story. You can adapt a Bible Story or anything from the history.
You can also make one of your own, or you can even relate to your own experiences or the most important memories in your life. Perhaps, you may want to write your own life story.
On the other hand, if you decide to choose a nonfiction book, all you have to do is jot down all your interests, hobbies and all other things that affects your passion. Then choose one topic that you can acquire in a whole book.
Get your book outlined on the second day. This will serve as a blue print of your book. Write down all the under topics that you want to cover and divide them into chapters if you are planning to write a nonfiction book.
Plan your setting, characters, plot and the topics on each chapter if you chose to write a fiction book. You have to do it very well for it is the frame work of your book.
You have to keep yourself away from distractions on the third day until the last day. You have to be focused and devoted to finish your book. The goal is to write your story and finish your book. Don't mind the grammar, spelling, typos, and sentence structures.
Remember, you will edit and proofread your work. Keep in mind that you should never edit yourself while writing. It will eat your whole time making you finish less. Put your story in a draft form.
Have yourself a limit of pages that you need to finish a day. For instance, you can make 15 to 20 pages a day until the last day; making it 120 to 200 pages. When typed and converted to an average book size, your 120 to 200 pages is equivalent to 240 to 400 pages.
After the 10 day story making, now is the time to edit and proofread your book. Never show your work until it is completely done.
As a final tip, you might want to join the November event or the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) where all of you are given a one month period to write a novel.
