A cottage can be a great getaway for those who are trying to escape the hustle and bustle of the urban lifestyle. Nothing captures the idea of easy living in the countryside or the mountain regions like a picture of a cottage in the middle of a vast plain or valley. While most people would be more than happy with villa rental or having a house out in the country, some people would definitely want to go the extra mile make a cottage themselves. A cottage is a house that has a very simple exterior. You may also ask for specific details to allow for your various requirements and ideas for the design.
Creating a classic cottage does not just involve the looks. You should also consider traditional ways of building the cottage from ground up, including the foundation, and how to source for materials. While this may not be as strong and sturdy as what modern architecture would be, part of the fun in building a classic cottage would be the effort you put into it. If you make it into a labor of love, then you will enjoy it no matter the cost.
