3. Solar lights. Solar lights use the energy from the sun to work.  During the day, solar lights absorb energy from the sun and automatically light up at night. Their ability to produce light depends on the amount of energy they are able to store.  This is why it is advisable to place them where they can take up as much sunlight as possible. They may not work optimally on rainy days since they will not be able to charge up properly.
4. Solar cookers. Solar cookers use solar energy to cook food. They concentrate the sunlight through the use of reflective materials, which convert the light into heat, and then trapping the heat inside the pot to begin cooking the food. Aside from their cheap cost, solar cookers are considered to be environment friendly as they reduce the need for wood or fuel in cooking.

These are just some of the major solar products that have been used for some time.
