A 15 to 30 minute soak should remedy any soreness felt. It will also soften any calluses that have developed through extended use.
For maximum effect, it is recommended to lace your foot bath with Epsom salt or essential oils such as chamomile, eucalyptus, and almond. These ingredients can effectively relax and soothe the stressed out muscles and skin on your feet.
- Elevate your dogs. In some cases, soreness of the feet is not only caused by extended use. Yes, sometimes, the cause can just be due to an injury causing your feet and ankles to swell. If that is the case, try lying down on a bed and elevate your legs by placing cushions or pillows underneath.
